Bon Jovi is back: For those who couldn't get enough of Bon Jovi three years ago, Jon and the boys are back to share brand new rockers from "What About Now." Of course, no evening would be complete without a stadium full of fans singing loud and proud to "Livin' On A Prayer," "Wanted Dead Or Alive," "It's My Life" or "You Give Love A Bad Name," while those who come early score some bonus anthems from the rarely touring J. Geils Band ("Centerfold," "Freeze Frame"). Friday, July 12 at Soldier Field: www.ticketmaster.com.

Bruno Mars moves to arenas: The rise to recognition for soulful pop star Bruno Mars has been nothing short of meteoric, and after a mere few years in the club scene, he's already making the jump to arenas. Fueled by a 2013 Grammy Awards appearance alongside Sting and a slew of dance-floor friendly singles, the singer/songwriter/producer is earning frequent comparisons to Michael Jackson, while running neck in neck with Justin Timberlake. Along for the ride is rapidly ascending folk-flavored indie popper Ellie Goulding, the English singer/songwriter behind "Lights" and "Anything Can Happen." Saturday, July 13 at UnitedCenter: www.ticketmaster.com.

A country great turns 80: He may have just turned 80, but Willie Nelson isn't showing any signs of slowing down, releasing yet another new studio album on the heels of a best-selling autobiography and never ending tour. The incredibly prolific outlaw country icon and his longtime Family backing band may turn to covers throughout "Let's Face The Music And Dance," but take complete ownership of everything from a waltz through the Irving Berlin-penned title track to a rockabilly remembrance of Carl Perkins' "Matchbox" and several obscure country, jazz and pop gems from the 1930s through '50s. Sunday, July 14 at Ravinia: www.ravinia.org.
