Caption and photos by Andy ArgyrakisA mere matter of minutes into Green Day's sold out show at the newly relaunched State Farm Center, front man Billie Joe Armstrong plucked a fan from the crowd, had her sing a few lines of the smash "Know Your Enemy," and before it all could even sink in, she was stage diving into the throngs of screaming fans. But that was just the beginning as the second track, the recent chart-topper "Bang Bang," juggled additional punk rock power with blasts of pyro, ensuring the "Revolution Radio" Tour is one of these "Dookie" dudes' most full-throttled affairs to date.
Green Day appears in Chicago on August 24 at Wrigley Field. For additional details, visit www.livenation.com.
