Bluesfest 2001 Bluesfest 2001

Little Brother Lookin' Bigger
The Madison Blues Festival returns to Olin Park in Madison, Wisconsin on Friday, August 31 and Saturday, September 1, 2001.
In many ways this rather young event, only in it's fourth year, rivals it's bigger brother from Illinois - the Chicago Blues Festival. The fomer tends to get bigger name acts as Chicago's event doesn't seem to have the spirit (or money) to reel in the big ones anymore (although the Chicago fesival did hook Chuck Berry this year.)
The Madison Blues Festival looks to be pumping out the blues to many local fans and visitors for many years to come.

Ticket prices are:
$55.00 for both days (in advance)
$30..00 either day (in advance)
$35.00 day of show
