The California based ska band Reel Big Fish are currently on tour promoting the twenty year anniversary of their release Turn the Radio Down with Masked Intruder and Stacked Like Pancakes in support. On November 14th guys pulled into Ithaca Ny to play at the Haunt.

The night started with Stacked Like Pancakes - a seven piece ska band who classifies their sound as "brass rock." Stacked Like Pancakes members include Kellen McKay (vocals /guitar), Andrew Baker (bass guitar), Zach Foote (bass-trombone), Alec Leventis (trumpet), Michael Busch (lead guitar), Andy Dawson (trombone), and Kevin Goren on drums all of which unite to create a tight sound.

SLP received a warm welcome from the crowd showing their enthusiasm with the nights first dancing and skanking.

Second on the nights bill was Masked Intruder, dressed in black and wearing different colored knit masks, they were introduced by "Officer Bradford" who was dressed as a bicycle patrolman. Masked Intruder members are known only by their respective colored masks, and played a punk set while Officer Bradford mingled and danced with audience members. Masked Intruder have a pop punk sound and sang songs of incarceration and crime. They were a great live band and full of energy.

Tour headliners the Reel Big Fish came to the stage to finish out the night, they were greeted by a jam packed full house. They opened with "I Want Your Girlfriend To Be My Girlfriend Too." "The Kids Don't Like It." "Another F.U. Song" and "Your Guts (I Hate 'Em)" before launching into the entire song list from Turn the Radio Down. The band sounded great with Aaron Barrett – lead vocals, and guitar, John Christianson (a.k.a. Johnny Christmas) – trumpet, Derek Gibbs -bass, Matt Appleton (a.k.a. Saxl Rose) – saxophone and vocals, Billy Kottage - trombone, Edward Larsen - drums filling the Haunt with boisterous horns, tight rhythms and the ska guitar. The crowd loved every minute with pit and skanking inside as well as out on the deck.
