The Joan Jett show in Hoffman Estates was excellent hard rock served up hot off of Joan Jett's steaming platter. Along with the regular Joan Jett favorites like "I love Rock and Roll" and "I Hate Myself for Loving You," Joan added "Long Time," "Love is Pain" and also did "Androgynous" and "Baby Blue." The crowd also really got into it when Joan kicked into "Fetish...and Science Fiction Double Feature" (from "Rocky Horror Picture Show"). Her passion is definately in her choppy and bleeding guitar playing. The Blackhearts have added the keyboards of former Tommy James and the Shondells member, Kenny Laguna. Joans longtime manager is now in the band, adding great vocals and important keys to the show.
