Andy Argyrakis, Tony Bonyataof acts such as My Chemical Romance, Dropkick Murphys, The Offspring, Avenged Sevenfold and MXPX and countless other bands ready to burn the stage - this is certainly the year's best value for the young punker's buck. Get ready to stand the heat because this is truly an all day event. There's plenty of beer and water to be had as the summer rays will certainly takes it's toll. One of the main problems is with so many stages and acts running at the same time you're often left with too many choices. Make sure to check the billboards scattered throughout the festival and jot down the times and stages of your favorite bands. Don't forget to checkout some of the smaller stages with some unknown bands. This is the real fun of the event - to discover a cool new band.
If you keep your eyes peeled, chances are you'll see a member of one of your favorite bands walking around the festival. You can also check out the professional bikers and skateboarders doing their fanciful stuff. Then it's off to grab your water bottle and go shopping at the endless merchandise tents where you can buy CDs, all sorts of different clothing, jewelry, etc. There'll be plenty of food to replenish your spirit and drive. That way you'll be ready to take on the next act with renewed enthusiasm. Make sure to bring a backpack as there are tons of free items circulating the grounds - like stickers and CDs and the likes. Most bands usually show up at their music tents after their set to meet up with fans and do autographs. Vans Warped is truly a rock and roller's paradise - just don't forget to bring along enough cash and sunscreen.
