Review: This review was by far the most ridiulous example of what americans are listening to when reviewing a bands new album comparison to their previous albums is mandated but the useage of any other metal band when speaking of this particular band, your just not hearing what this band is all about. SYSTEM OF A DOWN is by far the most orignal chaotic metal band ever assembled hands down, all of their music is simply fresh in their own prolific style, their skills as a musicans and as writers of music is so amazing they should have won over a dozen emmmys, but to understand this type of music, you need to be able to tell qualtiy talent from what the raidio overplays, SYSTEM just happens to be so good that it cannot go noticed any longer, i have been a fan since 98 when the group released their self titled album and have watched their music branch out into all types of places from more melodic to more vocal, any person with any real music knowledge and taste knows the true deal with this band, i mean if you like listening to creed don't write reviews on music thats!

Review: Who are you you frickin hick to ignorantly judge the lyrics of the poet and talented songwriter Serj Tankian. Just because they blare heavy distorted guitars and loud yelling doesn't mean they're songs do not have meaning. The music is just a melody for the lyrics. I am sorry to say you missed the whole spiritual nature of this CD. Sure, they are B-sides, but they worked hard to record these songs and Serj and Daron even went into the studio 2 days before album release to digitally remaster every second song. If your ignorant enough to call powerful spiritually influenced lyrics crap, then stick to review CDs that contain the words ho, bling bling, gangbanging, cash money, i need a girl, and crappy lyrics about how rich a bunch of rappers are.

I made my way towards the stage after Love is the Drug and shimmed and shaked with the band. Woolly Bully was the suprise number for the night. I STILL can't get it out of my head. I had not heard it since I was a kid. It was a out and out rocjer to be sure. Very smart of Bryan to include this in the show. Maybe 96 Tears next time? Hmmmmm.

Review: Yes, I love the psychotic rants of Serj Tankain. When they stick to their Armenian roots, I think it's truly unique and beautiful. I think it's a really good album. Possibly System's best album. I didn't jump on the band-wagon; I'm a long time System fan (since 1999). I think that they did well, I love "Chic N Stu", "A.D.D.", Mr. Jack", & "F*ck The System". Especially, "Streamline" off of the Scorpian King Soundtrack. I'm very political myself. I'm currently protesting the War On Iraq, and this album is a huge motivation. System of A Down, is one of the best things to ever happen to me in my life.

Review: I love SOAD, even more so after seeing an absolute perfect live performance during Ozzfest 2002 in Noblesville, Indiana. The new album rocks, but I love the Toxicity CD as well. Chop Suey!, Aerials, Psycho, and now, Chic 'N' Stu........they rock!! But then I am staring down that genre grave you so wrongfully predict because I like Korn and Linkin Park too. I don't think the genre is dying, I just think it is finding itself and evolving, which music must constantly do to stay fresh and interesting. For those of you who think you don't like SOAD, check them out live first, before making that final judgment. You will be in for an awesome surprise.

Review: I don't know exactly who is going to read this but it is directed towards Holiday Girod. If you ask me sir or mam, whichever you may be, you sound like a fourty year old washed up loser, with nothing good in your life, who has to take it out on people who make millions happy. In my opinion, Toxicity was a completely amazing album. Also in my opinion, it's very hard for any album to stand up against it. But Steal This Album does a very good job. Every song is more than enough to get the mosh pit going, the blood pumping, and the good times flowing. Despite the obvious motive of every artist to make money, these guys are also trying to help people have some fun while they have fun also. Finally I just like to say that the title of the album might mean something other than what you think in a world where all music can just be stolen over the internet.

I went to the SOAD meeting in Glendale I was there from 3:00 am and you know what it was well worth the cold, wind and sleepless day I met some cool ass people out there I got a 12" Toxicity LP signed by all 4 band members and took some good pictures thanks for the memories. Review: Hey, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and obviously, in your opinion, you don't like the new album. I, on the other hand, love it. It's a great CD and has a more humorous twist to some of the songs which is cool. In the song "Chic 'N' Stu", the lyrics are not "Pepperoni and green pepper, mushrooms all the time...", they are "pepperoni and green peppers, mushrooms, olives, chives." But, hey...who knows...If you can't understand what the words are and want to make a fool of yourself by writing something wrong and then being corrected by a 15 year old female, go right ahead...do some more. :)

Review: I think the guy that made the review of the new System of a Down album is 50 years old, listens to Winger and has no clue how a 90's band sounds, much less a 2000's band. I think Ieaiaio has great live potential and most of all the songs sound great! i guess that if SOAD didn't made a semi-concept album, a selection of the best songs (if possible) of this and the last album (toxicity) would make one of the best albums in the history of rock, or who knows, a double album... I hope that the next reviews will be made by someone who truly understands how things sound today, not like 20 or 30 years ago...

Review: First of all, if you go into listening to a S.O.A.D. cd with the intent of hearing the catchy "radio-rock" being spewed on the air-waves, you are going to disappoint yourself from the very first song (which, by the way, have the lyrics, "Pepperoni and green pepper, mushrooms,OLIVES, CHIVES," review the lyrics before criticizing them). System has a unique style that has helped them remain successful in production and on stage for over 10 years. Its great to hear bands that actual have something to say and do it in distinctive manner.

Review: s.o.a.d. is one of the greatest rising bands today. i am sick and tired of bs punk bands and other 'rock' wannabes, this is the new metal of today. LB and KORN.. yes they are down the drain, but s.o.a.d. is incomparable to them, because theyre lyrics are not 'get out of my face' a la limp.. and not 'painful' a la korn. LB and Korn were of course at the top once, and s.o.a.d. will not stay there forever, but they are different. and while their lyrics may not be mundane, its what makes them special, and in my opinion, daron is one the greatest guitarists out there. go see them live, and you'll understand. you their songs sound liek they were written while they were on crack? youre probably right, they do a lot of drugs, as you might understand, if you listened to teh lyrics and knew a thing or two about drugs. yes they also try speak about politics through lyrics, s.o.a.d. is the next generation of rage against the machine with a new sound. they will top the charts longer thou!
gh, and will be one of the greatest and renowned bands ever. oh yeah one more thing... can you please do your homework before reviewing a band? you claim that all the 'steal this album' songs are 'toxicity' rejects. please do us all a favor and research before you review, so you dont look like a fool next time.. while most songs are 'toxicity' rejects some were previously unreleased underground shit from back in the day when SOAD still painted their faces. thanks ps. i hope this is not your day job.

Review: Now granted Steal This Album is not going to be as amazing as Toxicity, but it definitely does not suck. System is still the angry music kings! Toxicity was amazing, as was their first self-titled album. Their sound is so original, that you have to give them props. Remember that song by 311 a little while back, come original, well, classic example, and that's why SOAD is so freaking amazing!!

This album has no fluidity. Review: I must agree that compared to their last album "Toxicity",which was just so good, "Steal This Album" seems to fall short. Although, it is good enough to buy for what it is, second string songs that were dropped for their past albums. "Innervision", "Ego Brain", and "Roulette" are the highlights of this album, but my opinion may differ from the next person's. I seem to prefer the songs in which Serj takes a softer approach to the lyrics and is easier to understand("Roulette").....as opposed to the songs where he simply shouts out words. Serj's style of singing will always be reason enough for me to buy any album they put out, but I will still listen to "Toxicity" alot more than "Steal This Album." Oh, I also hear that their first album was better than "Toxicity", I have yet to hear it, so I guess I'll have to buy that one next and see what Ive been missing.

Review: Steal This Album - what can I say, that a million other toxicity owners haven't already said on hearing this bands incredible musical, lyrical and emotive talents. I heard steal this album for the first time today (i pre-ordered it, but it came a day late) and was immediately hooked. Once again System of a Down have proved that music can be about something other than teenage angst, drugs, being mad at your mum, and the weather. The lyrical gymnastics of Serj Tankian, the fast and furious drumming of John, the moody bass of Shavo, and the alround genius of Daron Malakian are once more shown to their greatest degree. Elements of hard rock, humour, passion and emotion keep this bands music far ahead of any wanna-be competition. Nothing else I can say - as for any favourites, oh, i dont do favouritism, it is all so, well, good. What more could anyone ask for in a band, if System of a Down were a brand of loo roll they'd have everything - soft, strong, extra long, and def! finately no chaffing! My top band, who have given us the best three albums of the last few years, a live act with no comparison, and generally all round nice guys. System of a Down, keep up the good work - ***** out of 5!
