In sharpe contrast, on stage she shines. She is still stuningly beutiful in person, far more attractive than she comes across on TV. After 3 songs, on stage, she comes to life, with an amazing amount of energy and personaility. With witty, sexy comments, made after every thrid son or so, she leaves you hanging onto every word, hoping to hear one more sharpe witted cool comment. Her voice holds up quite well through the entire 90 min + show, again vocally sounding much better than coming across on TV. The small venue was packed, and wodl be my guess that this formatt is where Blondie shines the brightest. As far as the CD Curse of Blondie, I was not at all impressed with the 2 jazz attempts on the CD, am rather indeifferent about the RAP attempt.....Debbie still can raise an eye brow....Shake Down elicits the same critcism that made Blondie Famous. Tracks 2 through 12 are all good, with 4-5 being excellent...Last One in the World, Good BOys, Tingler, and the very best End to End.
