Review: i think that something corporate is an amazing band. its so sad that they couldn't play this year due to the singer/pianist/songwriter andrew mcmahon discovered he had acute lymphatic leukemia. he is a great person, and an amazing musician. the warped tour would've been better if something corporate was there. i didn't go this year. and i've never even went before. but i have seen something corporate play before, and it was the best experience of my life. something corporate is truely amazing. and andrew mcmahon is such a brilliant man. god bless and amen.

Some research since that time regarding the segment of "Smile" I can understand it better now than I did then. I thought it reminded me of "Uncle Albert" of the Sgt. Pepper's ..... by the Beatles. Review: The show at Alpine Valley could not have been better. You know your at a great concert when you have that feeling of ecstasy, and it feels like every hair on your body is standing straight up. That is one of the greatest natural highs you'll ever get. What a great show though, those 4 guys hit the nail right on the fuckin head, POW! I loved how they came into it with "Square One", excellent choice. I loved this show so much that I am roadtripping it to the Sept 30th show in Virginia and the Nissan Pavilion. I have Coldplayitis and I gotta get my fix. Later guys!!!

Review: I would first of all like to say that Coldplay is such an amaizing band! Seeing Coldplay live is an experience in itself. Watching the band live realy made me apreciate all of their songs even more. They are so good with their crouds and the way Chris Martin changes his lyrics for the croud is very fun too! Seeing them live will be an experience my girlfriend and i will never forget! One of the best concerts i've ever seen. The two and a half hour wait to get out of the parking lot was worth it in the end. I love Coldplay's music and can't wait to hear more from them in the future!

Review: The Fray got a slight rip in the local rag that calls itself a paper. They only got 4 songs, so there's really not much to compliment or complain. I guess it's great exposure for a band that doesn't even have a full-length debut album out yet. They sounded good, very pop-friendly. Hook-y. I can hear them on the radio.
What's most telling about The Fray is The Pixies went on stage very shortly after The Fray left . . . and the first song, Bone Machine, made everyone forget about the opening band. It was kind of like watching MLB immediately after a couple innings of single-A ball. At first, I thought the Pixies would only get an hour. They zipped from song to song without a single word between songs. I think they may have once taken a 20 second break between songs, but that was just to switch guitars. Otherwise, they moved as fast as I've ever seen a band move. No fucking around. It was such a statement against how every other band on earth does things. When the set closed, the crowd went wild with a standing-O, and the band just stood there, giving a couple waves -- still no words -- and then walked off stage. No encore, no fucking around. They left it all onstage.
Weezer came on shortly thereafter. Played maybe five songs from the new album. Sounded good. But they had none of the urgency the Pixies gave. The opener -- Say It Ain't So -- was a strange choice. They gave a smattering from all the albums. But it was short -- just over an hour, including the two-song encore. And it's not like they were working against the Summerfest deadline; we left with plenty of time to kill. I originally thought the Pixies/Weezer double-billing was just out of respect for the Pixies. I assumed we'd get at least 90-100 minutes of Weezer. Not so. I guess it wouldn't bother me as much if Weezer played long, complicated songs. But they play short, simple pop songs. The set was easily 5-7 songs short.

Review: well the warp in va beach was awsome! yeah it rained and there where mood slides and some moster moshing goin on! yeah i was in um..crowd surfing was crazy! well my highlight was getting to meet and talk to gerard from my chemical romance! they got votted best band soo yeah and i got his waterbottle and a hug! it was soo awsome for a MCR fan:)

Review: it sucks that the band broke up...my uncle went to high school with their drummer donny...but i wont say anymore on that..they were a great band...i miss them and i never even got to see them perform...i live in kentucky...the band kinda hits home in a way..but not really what u would call a home-town kinda thing...miss them

Review: Voilent Femmes is coming to Kansas City at the Madrid Theatre. They have the worst sound system I have ever heard. Why are you bands playing there. Besides that there never any parking unless you want to park 2 blocks away. Last time I went I walked a block and saw 2 cars with there windows busted out. Have the dam concerts somewhere safer. Come on people.
