Review: I caught the George Strait tour in Greensboro, NC as well as seeing Ronnie again here in Florida last weekend. He is absolutely amazing. He sounds the same onstage as he does coming from the stereo speakers while you are listening to his CD's. And with his ability to ad lib, you never know what might happen onstage between him and his band members. I have attended many Milsap shows and not once have I ever left disappointed. I only want more.

There's nothing better than a Jrock band coming half way around the world to be sold-out for every concert they play WITHOUT ANY advertising, and to be here for a year and win MTV2's Headbanger's Ball #1 Metal Music Video of THE YEAR. THAT is a rock band. Dir en grey IS rock. And for those who think otherwise, that's your opinion--keep it to yourself and let me have mine. When you see several bands playing at a concert and having more lined up for a band from Japan than ANY other-that's amazing. There isn't anything like Dir en grey--past, present, future. There's rock, and there's Dir en grey. And I know many who agree with me--Dir en grey is amazing, and I'm lucky to have seen them several times since they came over in March of 2006.

I love Dir en grey, and they will forever be my #1 favorite rock band in the world. <3

Review: I just got home from seeing Bob Seger in Little Rock, AR on February 10, 2007. I'm amazed that a 61 year old man can still sing that good. Robert Plant should try to find out Seger's secret. Seger and the Silver Bullet Band are still at the top of my list and they earned that honor again last night. Having been to over 80 major concerts, my last being U2 in Dallas, I don't give out the praise lightly. I'm 50 years old and hope I have his energy at 61. My only complaint was the drunken asshole to my right that seemed to think he was at a disco concert. At least back when they were stoned they just sat there.
