Bob Weir & Jonathan Wilson |
Bob Weir |
Caption and photos by Mary Andrews Bob Weir casually and confidently walked on stage and joined opener, Jonathan Wilson. It like he was just stopping by and hanging out on your living room chair. Weir was unobtrusive as he lovingly caressed his guitar throughout the evening and dazzled the near capacity, adoring crowd for three hours. The barefooted performer remarked after the first song, "It's nice to get my tour boots off." Weir returned with Wilson in tow the second half of the set. Weir played a vintage electric Gibson 335 and Wilson on acoustic. The interplay between the two was a satisfying and dreamy bluesy/jazzy jam.
