A sprawling Jackson Family Center featuring a Michael Jackson Performing Arts Center will be constructed without tax dollars in Gary, Indiana, Mayor Rudy Clay declared Wednesday.
Joseph Jackson, father of the Jackson clan, held a press conference with Jackson Family Foundation President Simon Sahouri giving details of the proposed mega entertainment complex. There has been doubt brewing among many that the complex will ever be built because of the many failed attempts to construct it in the past.
"This is not a promise," Clay stated. "This is going to be done."
