Review: The ex-drummer for heavy metal band Judas Priest reportedly wept in court today as a guilty verdict was read out, convicting him of the attempted rape of a special needs teen.
David Holland, 55, had been giving the 17-year-old boy drumming lessons between June and December of 2002 at his home in England when the incidents occurred. The boy, who suffers from learning disabilities, was encouraged to take the lessons by his parents who had that hoped time spent with Holland would improve their sonÔs self-esteem.
Holland was found guilty of one charge of attempted rape and five counts of indecent assault by a jury at Northampton Crown Court in the UK. Spiros Laouitaris, 22, a frequent visitor at HollandÔs home, was also accused of assaulting the teen. Laouitaris has been cleared of four counts of indecent assault.
According to the BBC, as the relationship between the teacher and pupil evolved the teen started to occasionally spend the night at HollandÔs home. During the overnight stays, the former rocker allegedly allowed the boy to drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes.
The parents of the teen finally caught wind of the assaults after they received a letter from their son on December 14, 2002 describing the abuse. The boy, who is now 18, cannot be named for legal reasons.

Review: I hated your review. Blink 182 is one of the coolest bands. I mean, they're famous across America, and even across Europe. AND theyre one of the bands that people ACTUALLY like. You don't hear about them one day, and then not hear about them the next. There lyrics are stupid sometimes, but its all done in humor. Plus, you don't hear many other bands with as good a drummer as travis. Also, if you are a true blink fan, you'd know that they consider themselves growing up. Look at their lyrics in their new self-titled ablum. its not all fun and games there. If you'd watched the downloads at blink182.com, you'd know that their progression to this album was slower, longer, and harder than their other albums. Along with their little kid-dish behavior and immature jokes are cool people who just want to make music; who are already making awesome music.

Review: I agree. Just one note: "Who's Next"(28) is a top ten album (in a rock poll anyway - every song good - shouldn't that be an important criteria? - too low at 28), but ranking perhaps the greatest double album in rock history ("Quadrophenia" - a double album with nearly no filler) at 266 is a crime.
Criteria is the plural for criterion. So, it should read, "shouldn't that be an important criterion."
Just tryin' to help.

Review: I guess no one here is interested in what direction the US heads in. At the rate the USA is going, if something is not done, there might not be any music to discuss. I think priorities need to be set as we cannot live in a dream or escape from reality.
Don't lose the fire people. In this, a voting year, let's make the ruling class aware that we are united, and they have a force to deal with that cannot be moved.

artist: Head of Femur
Review: This review for Head of Femur certainly makes the band seem as if their mix of energy and gentle sounds could lull the listener into hours of auditory bliss... From the photos I can see they're using guitar and two violins which can make a wonderous combination, as proven by the Corrs. I'm curious as to their other sounds but their simple look couldn't detract from the performance and clearly the reviewer completely enjoyed their show. Although they're not in my neck of the woods, this sounds like a group I might like to hear one day.
Good Times,IL 01/25/04
Review: Outstanding review! I've never heard any of the bands but after reading this you can believe I'll be checking Femur out for myself. I used to have hair like the lead singer of Femur. Did I really look that silly?

Review: I wish to remain anonymous because i absolutely hate what Jerry Only has done to the misfits. You can't revive the misfits... it's like trying to start the beatles over. It wouldn't work because there is no john lennon or george harrison. Same with the new misfits. There is no Danzig or Robo. Danzig was the true meaning of the misfits, he was the true fiend leader. Jerry Only, you disgust me... you are just in this for the money. Jerry Only = The True Definition of Sellout.
