If other people are saying this at other venues too then something is wrong here. It used to be that if David performed, even people that were not HUGE fans would be impressed with his "professionalism" and how kind he was to the fans. Now you don't hear about that - except from the kind of fans that wet their seats! LOL!! As one friend of mine stated "There's really only ONE person that can control David Cassidy getting poor reviews - and that's David Cassidy." Gives ya something to chew on, don't it? Not that David hasn't been a victum of critics who judged him unfairly only on his "teen idol image." I'd be the first to defend him then. But somehow, somewhere, he's got that "Whitney Houston - I AM the DIVA" thing down pat now. On top of that he's also unprepaired and forgetful. Even forgetting the words to "I Think I Love You" and how long has he been singing THAT horrific little ditty?! Now, I'd expect that kind of "attitude" from say - Billy Idol or Sid Vicious - but I don't think MOST of David's fans are expecting him to behave in such a rude mannor. I beleive it is better than anything The Smiths ever released. It is about time that Morrissey got some real coverage and credit for all that he does.
