Grammy award-winning indie rock darlings Arcade Fire played three sold out shows over the weekend at The UIC Pavillion. Openers The National warmed up the crowd with a rock solid set, the audience who was singing along, were clearly National fans as well. But Arcade Fire could outshine the most talented of bands. With a giant screen with clips from '70's TV shows and movies to their backs, the band was decked in bright clothing, and accompanied by colorful and unique instruments.

The night was a fire drill of instrumentalists. It seems like each member of Arcade Fire plays at least three instruments, and choses a different one for each song. They sang, the danced, they played, what more could a person ask for? Seeing a live show is a must for Fire fans.
