Dave Mustaine (vocals, guitar), with his band mates Chris Broderick (guitar), Shawn Drover (drums) and James Lomenzo (bass) took total control of the Eagles stage early and often. With incredible fashion the explosive lead and dueling guitars solos between Dave and Chris brought the high energy octane right out of the gate. The buzzing, electric cocktail of Shawn's bass and James' drums rippled deep to your core. You can see how how Megadeth continue to be the true masters of metal.

"In My Darkest Hour" kicked the crowd into a high gear with it's thunderous beats and explosive guitars. "Sweating Bullets" also lit a fire under the asses of the faithful at The Eagles Ballroom. Megadeth played a wide variety of songs from past to present. "Almost Honest" and "Symphony for Destruction" sounded even better live than on record. "Peace Sells" and "Holy Wars" were truly amazing as Mustaine commanded the stage with his usual fire and brimstone. The culled heavily from the latest record Endgame while ripping it up with some amazing riffs. These unique masters of metal know who to keep the bombast flowing with authority and roaring leads

Machine Head provided a powerful opening to Megadeth's rage. The intensity and creative mixture of these individuals and their talent's as musicians are truly astounding. Between extreme atomic and explosive guitar riffs and dueling guitar solos and combined with a thunderous bass and a drum kit that leaves a super natural energy pounding inside your veins, the band let it be known that they were here to take no prisoners. Lead singer Robb Flynn's sludge drenched voice was both brooding and ominous on "Imperium" and "Seasons." Another crowd favorite off of The Blackening (their greatest album to date) was the epic "Beautiful Mourning." The band has evolved with each album, experimenting with new sounds and techniques along the way. They also played a tribute to Iron Maiden with a raunchy version of "Hallowed Be Thy Name."
