Story by Phil Bonyata The testosterone laden four day festival is loaded with such hot acts as Toby Keith, Jason Aldean, Big & Rich, Dwight Yoakam and Blake Shelton to choose from with the only drawback being a very slim selection of female acts this year. "I think country music is and always will be thriving. It has the largest and most loyal fan base of any other genre. If Country Thunder is any indication of the vitality of country music, there's no stopping it!" states Sara Jean Kelley (slated to perform on the main stage at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday). You'll never go hungry or thirsty at Country Thunder as there is monster variety of food and drink available all over the festival grounds. If you like to shop for cowboy and western related items then this will be a shopping paradise in between acts.
